they made that same frame in a 20" and 24" into the 90's ---theres a guy on this site who use to work at TNT who might be able to decifer the serial # if they used a date system!!

older crupi's did'nt have the red painted letter's and lines either i have some nos gold shimano MX pedals 9/16 spindle there the same thing as dx just about a 1/4 inch smaller

i use pvc pipe ---i drill holes in it down 2 sides, then hone it gently!! and make all edges smooth!! --i cut 1oz doing this (i compared my home made spacer to the stock profile spacer!! sounds stupid but i've made a couple for freinds now! its cheap ---and i now have a carbon fider on my bike -i found a lingth of carbon tube --only .30 gram differance between the carbon and pvc!! but it just looks cooler when you pull it apart!!
