  1. Old is new....now if they would only make mags with taller sidewalls or slightly larger diameter to retain the bead for high pressure tires, they would really see a sales bump.
  2. Oooooh. RL-20II properly remade with all the modern advances and no corners cut.....that would be something.
  3. It is completely off(chemically stripped), just some traces are left. Fork decals are great however.
  4. After much debate I think I am going to restore my 86 RL-20a. this time around it will be California Red and not its original Radberry. I would like to know how far away from the seat tube and bottom bracket does the paint extend, I need an exact measurement from an original, not a restored to reduce any chance for errors. I also would like to know if the black bottom bracket paint fades into the color or if its a sharp cut off. I would also like to see pictures of this with a ruler beside it, so that I know how to replicate the finish. Lastly does anyone know what automotive paint, or paint code or name matches the California Red precisely? I am doing this on the cheap; custom mixed rattle can. Many thanks.
  5. Interesting, I am looking for the version 2 if anyone knows of one available.
  6. Here is mine. I used to have the 1980 style as well, but I wore it out until it fell apart. I hate the newer jerseys, the 2013 jersey looks a little better, has a more retro look still does not compare to the older ones. I just scored a NOS Redline Aero pants and was looking forward to rocking the set, but my shirt feels snug and fragile.
  7. Looks great, I just pulled out my old 86 jersey and its not aging well. Do you have one for sale in L or XL?
