  1. Broken toe here willinios or I would have been out there with ya... Maybe next Sunday... been down for two weeks... I bet we would have to race each other in 20"... Glad to see you headed out. -=DEUCE
  2. I haven't raced yet.... I went out there to help work on the track and got to ride a bit two weeks ago... The blisters I got from raking that second burm put me out of commish for over a week... I really need a new pair of riding (raking) gloves... lol I'll race 20" to... lol... I bet we'll be in the same class.... did you notice what the classes looked like agewise for the 20" races? Many 30+ers? -=DEUCE (Brian) p.s. a couple pictures of me can be found in the off track mug shot thread... lol...
  3. Yup.... Very long track... I was there two weeks ago... My wind is hurt'in... Will be there hopefully this Sunday. -=DEUCE
  4. Just got back from the new Waukegan IL track (closest track - 40 miles away!) and dude I am in such bad shape  ... Need to get in shape big time... still have the skills though after a 10+ year hiatus. willinois lives across the street... lol... I find it hard to believe that nobody here can give me an example on a cruiser ratio... OK I'll rephrase the question... What gear ratio do you run on your cruiser? With what size cranks? Thanks dudes... off to the local for a couple pops... -=DEUCE
  5. Can some one please post some typical gear ratios? Crank size consideration included... I remember BITD (and currently) on my 20" I used 180mm cranks with a 44 or 45 tooth sprocket and a 16 tooth freewheel... Which I will probably stay with unless I am convinced otherwise... My main concern at this time is for my cruiser... What is a good set-up for my cruiser given my 20" set-up... Also, I'm 6'2" if that changes things... The reason I ask is because I am getting back into racing and looks like the local seen will have a 24" class for my age group. Thanks in advance. -=DEUCE
