They both have what seems to be the same stem, I'm sure they are original, funny thing is I can't tell much difference between the mach and the interceptor other than the mach seems to have better hubs...ill take way better comparo pics this weekend! I'm never home during the daylight

I understand where your coming from...But that's not what im after...I like these bikes i have, i had them when i was a teen...But if im gonna build one or two to keep around id rather search for a "better" frame to base upon, although for street riding i dont think ill ever notice! i have one in on a 95 gt pro series...if this is way better of a frame, then ill sell the interceptor and build that one instead!

Would love to make it this year! I missed last years and was sad i missed it! I havent ever been to a bmx show like this as i just got back into them after riding midschool from 90ish though 98ish... Now have a 96 Gt mach one and a 95 Gt interceptor.... Is this an event i can bring my bmx too? cruise around and whatnot? as i always like feedback and advice and having the bike there would always help!

I'm not sure about 1995/96 but before those years neither the Mach 1 or Interseptor came with 3 pc cranks. Oh i know, i mean aftermarket....Like what 3 pc cranks were popular back then?

Hey guys, first post here...I'm gonna be doing a buildup of my two mid school Gt bikes.. The first is a 96 Gt Mach One, and the second is a 95 Gt Interceptor. The Mach is put together, original except for some Cw Pro Bars, and some old Suntour Vx 3pc cranks and pedals i got. The Interceptor is all original from what i can missing grips. I have it apart right now as it needs tires, tubes, and a general cleanup. Now my question is....I wanna build both for street cruising (4130Subway Ride) Which Frame is better or worse in this case? Geometry differences? Which Cranks are period correct for these bikes(3pc) anyways... i Mainly wanna upgrade the wheels, tires, maybe hubs and cranksets.... Pics to come tomorrow
