Looks like the bidding is getting heated already for the bars & stem on the bay CBF do you know what year they changed the logos on the hubs from color to embossed?

I thought about that. I have a 2 '79's without the machined BB "edge" and a 3rd that is a '79 and has it. CBR wasn't sold until '83 right? Does anyone else have a pre-dropout tensioner (started in '80) machined BB shell.

Yo STODD Did you get me email a few days ago? Since my last post I bought a 78? or 79?.#18 CBR cruiser so I'm trying to get original decals as well.

I used to use a T handle 10mm allen wrench with about 1/2 duct tape around it and make sure it's against the cup not bearings and wack it. Then I spent the $30 on a Park bearing/headset remover and now I spend all day wacking my cups in and out......seriouslly buy this tool it makes life so easy.

Anyone know why and when for the difference in some CBR american BB shells having a lip like on the headtube and some not?

1 of the new CBR decals is based on the the original and then there is a new one. Jack hasn't said anything to me. He has a few other projects for me. I'll ask him. He has alot of other projects going (not all bike) so if it does happen it will be a long, long time. I'm sure he wouldn't see because what he told me was the old ones dried up to much to work. He would give me any either. I'm sending a pic of the new ones can u post for me? Thankx.

Hey Stodd- Very nice. I'm jealous. BTW Those old water decals are pretty much shot. I designed the new decals for the CBR Anniversary frames because Jack said none of his NOS will work. Whatever you might find might work but I wanted to warn you before you spend any big $$$$ on old stock of the originals.
