They will fit I used one on one of my bikes the threads in the new ones are metric instead of standard threads, But that can be fixed I drilled and tapped mine to accept the older hardware. You will need a hardened tap to do this because the spindle is hardened and a cheapo tap will break off. Its not easy or fun doing it you will need to do it slowly and easy a little bit at a time . But it can be done.SR
