well i thought dans comp would be worth a try lol like i said ive been out of BMX since about 1997 or so

well i looked for em online at places like dans comp and the ones on ebay were mongoose and chrome ones dose a member on here have a nice old school racing fork for sale here got 100 bucks to spend . would prefer tange trx or other high end fork that will hold up to abuse .

can you put a 1 1/8 fork in to a 1 in head tube ? i read on another site you can do it you have to use the 1 inch barring cups and find barrings that fit around the steer tube . has any one done this before ? my 83 schwinn was a basket case when i got it 90% was missing and the paint was shot so i bought all new parts and found out they dont make 1 inch forks any more for 20 in bmx bikes man ive been gone for to long lol. other people say that i cant get to serious with it because the frame is out dated but i think it will work just fine any suggestions ?

maybe he did not go deep enough in the skin also but its all good at least i got tatts that mean something every one i have has a meaning behind it just not random flash off the wall .

yeah ill keep you updated for sure man i know what you mean tho about jobs man i am sleeved out full of tattoos and its hard as hell to find a decent job with tattoos and a record . i want to help kids not only with sweet bikes but teach them right from wrong also i have a 2 year old girl and i pray she never ends up with a guy like i was at age 16 . right now its just in the planning stages trying to get some ideas on how to do this . going to call some more LBS today and see if they want to help and maybe get some local radio stations to pitch in . ill keep you updated .

funny you talk about dumpster parts there is a LBS that i raid the dumpster at least once a week i know the guy really well and i buy stuff from him all the time so he dont mind im thinking about building the scraps i got and giving bikes to kids in my hood who dont have the cash or get in truble with the local police to try to get them in to a hobby/sport . You, sir, are a tribute to the human race. This sort of generosity is rare. Unfortunately, it's rare because it is RARELY appreciated, so let me say right now thank you for even thinking of doing this. I salute you...SALUTE! thank you im trying to figure out away to get this done maybe get with the LBS and city police and maybe drop the news paper or tv a little hint were doing this . 1 get the LBS free time in the paper or the air 2 get good news about the local PD for once 3 get others involved to help again thank you i want to do this because i was a screw up at age 15 i was shot and at 16 i got stabbed age 17 i cough a dope case and i did not get straight till a few years ago . its going to take some time and ill keep you updated if you want send you picks of what were doing i just hope it will change some kids life for the better funny thats what i told my girl about 5 days ago

hey guys i just started riding again and im rebuilding a Schwinn predator frame all new parts and i just added up the total and realized i could have bought a brand new haro with the cash i spent . but i have a one of a kind bike now and i built it my self and have learned a lot by doing all the work myself so what has been the most you spent on a build you dont have to say the amount just click a spot in the poll and tell me what you like or dislike and what you would have done different .

ah had no idea about that man ive been out for so long and i looked online for parts i needed and got em and i am building this for me to ride . thanks for the help cant wait to get it built and done with so i can tare up the streets

thanks Doug now that i know what i have how well were these frames / bikes made ? were they popular ? any info will be helpful i did scrape off 2 faded decals on the frame that were about the right size for the predator decals but they were bleach white and you could not read any letters on them
