  1. This is an incredible thread , thank you to everyone for participating . I am a JMC fanatic , like most of you guys . I have a few of them , would really like 1 of each model , hopefully 1 day I will . Here's my cruiser , 24C43
  2. Great find , hoping one day I can stumble across an old survivor like this .
  3. Fantastic write up & a gorgeous bike , well done .
  4. Cheers guys , the poor old dear is looking a little worse for wear , but I cannot bring myself to pulling it down & tidying it up . I love the fact that its completely original & has never been touched , so I guess thats the way it will stay .
  5. You still come on here mate ?

I deleted my FB account , we need to chat on here maybe .

  6. Thanks guys for the kind words . The tyres are a bit dry TrulyOdd and I was gentle on them ..... haha I only have a few bikes in my collection but I build them to ride em . It brings back that feeling of being a teenager again , I love it . I have a 24"JMC which gets ridden a few times a week , I agree some parts are getting rare & expensive but I don't think I could be in this hobby if I could'nt ride them . To me it is what it's all about . Old farts burning around on old bikes . Cheers guys Julian
  7. Your avatar is nicer ! lol Thanks guys , just went for a burn on it down the street , they still ride how I remember them , those DB bars though are a bit small & swept back a bit much .
  8. Good morning gents , I have been on here for a while but never seem to get involved in conversations , I usually just come on here to check the For Sale section . So I thought I would introduce myself & post a pic up of my Turbo survivor . Its completely OG except the front brakes have been taken off ..... Everything else is how it left the factory in 1982 . Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I do . Cheers Julian The number plate is off one of Mr Pliska's bikes , but my brother won the Oz titles in 1985 on my Turbo , so I feel its OK to run the #1 .....
