  1. Yeah, now that the market has shown the demand you're right. Counterfeit and repackaged mint items are becoming commonplace. And Deago did another quickchange. He is now godfather-bmx as of Sep-10-2016 to bring things full circle.

  3. gfish777 so you were the seller? Call ebay and have them remove the feedback. Other people have been able to do that recently. Don't let this crook ruin your rep. Anthony has again changed his ebay username too. This time to 24-7bmx . So heads up people.
  4. New ID: o*l*d*s*c*h*o*o*lo*l*d*s*c*h*o*o*l Changed on Feb 5-16 right after leaving another wack neg for a good member.
  5. That factory blue frame with the Tan decal has haunted me for decades....
  6. He changed his name again. Now it's "spicolis" Happy New Year homies!
  7. The powers that be wanted me to give you guys a heads up about a scammer who may or may not be a member here. It's an ebay user known presently as ca-bmx-kid. Never dealt with anyone as bad (or ballsy) as this guy in over 10yrs trading online. This guys M.O. is to schmooze sellers (on eBay since I guess he was banned from other BMX sites) into giving him stuff at a discount as a collector and then he resells anything he can as NOS. If you're a seller with similar items he gets your stuff, leaves you negative feedback to reduce competition by hurting your reputation and then relists your items as NOS. Last week he listed a second auction as NOS with my survivor stuff in it. This listing (http://www.ebay.com/...EcAAOSwnipWXz6o) contains my old 890 caliper arms dated 03/81 which you can see it in my original listing here:http://www.ebay.com/...d-/221950510674 He was super psyched when he saw that I was throwing in a 1020 caliper that he thought was NOS passable. Turns out it had some fading (which is visible in the listing pics) and he must have freaked when he realized that he couldn't list it as NOS as he had planned. I offered him a refund but of course he wanted the parts cause they are really sweet survivors with all og hardware. So sweet in fact that with a little cleanup BAM...instant NOS. So spread the word to any peeps that sell or buy on ebay and double check that he's not here scheming. This guy leaves regularly malicious feedback with perceived competitors (at least a dozen so far) and lists fake NOS auctions. He's in Ukiah CA and the paypal e-mail is: thanks_for_your_payment@yahoo.com Ebay user Id's are: ca-bmx-kid Oct-02-15 Present the-bmx-hunter Aug-31-15 Oct-02-15 nor-cal-bmx Jul-19-15 Aug-31-15 nor-cal-vintage Apr-25-15 Jul-19-15 godfather_bmx Mar-25-15 Apr-25-15 gf-bmx Feb-23-15 Mar-25-15 rad-bmx Jan-23-15 Feb-23-15 old_school_bmx_lab Dec-23-14 Jan-23-15 bmx_shop Nov-22-14 Dec-23-14 dogtown_dayz Oct-23-14 Nov-22-14 hunt_buy_sell Sep-07-14 Oct-23-14 vintage_verne Aug-07-14 Sep-07-14 ebmx Apr-24-14 Aug-07-14 e-bmx Mar-24-14 Apr-24-14 bmxlab Feb-19-14 Mar-24-14 l_i_g_i_t Jan-19-14 Feb-19-14 re-pedal Dec-01-13 Jan-19-14 gotta-good-vibe Nov-01-13 Dec-01-13 sir-pick-alot Oct-01-13 Nov-01-13 i-found-it-for-you Sep-16-13 Oct-01-13 If anyone here's been burned by him already feel free to contact me for more info. Rawk on gang.
  8. Simple, this frame has been in the same family since 1979. I remember it from childhood when it was new. It's also not my bike but that of an old family friend.
  9. Yo fellas....just dragging myself out of the insanity for a moment to hook you all up with this peep:
  10. Grail bullseye! Congrats Jon, i know youve been sweating that piece for a loong time.
  11. Just discovered that the bike my childhood friend used to ride (which I thought was a PK ripper) is actually a DB IV. This was the bike that made me obsessed w/ SE Racing bitd after riding it. If I can get decent shots of it I'll post up here for historical accuracy/reference. Amazingly it's still sitting at the same property where I first saw it in 1980. And it's a total "barn-find" survivor. Other than the blue snakebellies which disintegrated due to the barn storage it's in remarkably good shape and the candy blue finish and OG decals are intact. Has a matching finish powerlite or DG fork instead of the Cycle Pro jam.
  12. Sick Jon. Love that FS, that's 400lbs of love!
  13. Thanks Steve, finally got this done lol. I did add dates to the original post. healeyracer, as far as I know the theory that a Redline stamp == overseas manufacture was never confirmed. But I'm hoping some veteran Redline collector can clear that up as well as any serial number related info.
