Thanks for the info.The BB on these frames came with the sealed barring installed but the head tube and drop outs show no sign of ever having parts installed. I'd never have guessed this was an NOS frame. No bends or dings ,no cracks. no road rash or skid marks but the finish is dull and has lots of hen peck type scratches that should buff off. again thinks for the help

This is the rear drop out on the Black lite frame I found. My question is has this frame ever been built up? if a rear wheel had been put in this frame wouldn't the alum show marks where the nuts were tighten? Your thoughts on this?

Found a black lite frame at a scraper on so 281 in Sn Antonio not bad for $3. now I need forks wheels cranks--this cheep find is going to cost! Ha Ha !!! Thinks for the great info here.

Thanks to all the research by Sodbuster my M&L racing frame early BMX took first place for the 70s BMX Race. A nice turn out for Alamo City BMX's first show.

scratch that first post--found the serial number on the head tube under several layers of paint.That first number must be a factory parts # for the swing arm HA828176 on head tube 1978 maybe?

Found what appears to be the Serial number stamped on rear drop out of the huffy monoshock.Sure looks like a lot of numbers to me 716965U5457080 Maybe the model number and serial number? any way to de-code it?
