  1. Here is my recently aquired 1977. The story behind this bike was that it was purchased like this in 1982. I bought it from the original owner. It appears to have been pieced together by the bike shop prior to him purchasing it using what they had in stock. The fork, obviously mismatched, is from a 1979 DB pro-star tagged 9GT(baseball symbol). The snake decals are from the wrong year. It has 3 piece db cranks, araya rims w/ suzie hubs, dia compe brake, db seat, db neck, db bars, mongoose grips, and an oddly placed hutch sticker on the front. It also has the california license and original bike shop stickers still intact. This 1977 MX is currently the 3rd oldest out of 5 known to exist. What do you guys think I should do with it?? I'd like to pull the wrong stickers and fork off but one of my co-workers said that I should leave it exactly the way that I bought it. What do you think?? Leave it as is or clean it up with correct parts.. i.e. dual dropout forks, grips, decals etc??
