  1. Hmmmm maybe more than 2 Its probably still in St.Pete and missing, if found I want it back.
  2. WOW is just how I feel WOW, Its just a over whelming feeling one of the Pioneers of our hobby, sport, addiction, brotherhood is gone. No matter what else I have done in life I have always met other bmx'ers during them and its like an automatic bond because we came up during the same time the first 40 years of BMX!!! Its hard to see people who we look up to pass in what seems way to early, I'm still a kid when I think about bmx Im not the adult I am now and all my idols and bmx legends are still the same age I discovered them at no matter how much time or reality has passed. We are fortunate to have known Scot some longer than others but all have been touched and benefited in someway from his work or innovations! Everybody should share stories and enjoy a laugh or benefit from something he said or did! Memories are all we have of Scot now good or bad but either way Scot still lives when they are spoken. One thing Scot knew was the value of a vacant lot...he had vision of what could be and memories of what were so he wasnt alone he just came full circle and ready for his next adventure. RIP Scot and Thank you for everything.
  3. I know how most of you feel just kinda get tired of life and thing"s you routinely do. I had a web site given to me but I just had to pay license fee's so I took it and tried to open it up and give people some freedom hoping it would increase activity and got chewed and if I tightened certain things up same effect. I was dealing with car people which mainly stayed current but like BMX people just got out of it. I tried to make it flow like Yellowbullet because that site really moved. It took me a little bit to figure out what I needed to see about bmx and my car site that if you dont stay current and move with the classes it just grows stagnant. Being we are just like the muscle car era people we need new ways to introduce new blood into our old sport and hobby that was once our LIFE. Old School and Mid School where most of us thrived as kids and some day younger generations will appreciate our bikes and will occasionally find scores because they are still out there and some will get old/mid school bikes in one way or the other. I know I am rarely here and havent posted in a few years but I still jump on and read. I dont build anymore but still looking for a few nice items to finish probably my final build. Hope this wasnt to much of a rant or of line just trying to relate . Jon
  4. thats cool I raced at Texas bmx park in houston off wilcrest about the same time. I remember going by A/D on the way to the lake to fish all the time as a kid.
  5. I will not be building or restoring it. I will trade it for several things. Pre 1990 Free Agent Limo,S&M wishbone seat stay challenger ,dirt bike or mad dog.
  6. yeah the first thing I said when he pulled the frame out of his truck was -does it have any forks. I live about 20 minutes from where Vectors were made and I would bet I never find forks but I dont plan on looking for them or keeping this.
  7. Wow nice score!! I remember racing a kid who had one back then.
  8. use common sense dude just look at them. Some unscrew and some will pry out. if they arent sealed be prepared to bend a wrench and grind a little clearance in it to clear a socket. It will take a couple tries to get it smooth without to much play and not leave it so tight it wont spin lol. This is just something you have to take a stab at and learn YOUR WAY of doing this.
  9. Spray bomb over poorly sanded powder coat looks like. Actually its not heavy 4# and I too wish it had forks.
  10. I recently found the receipt for my reynolds quad I bought new and it has the serial# I need to find it and post it since the bike was stolen. S-E What year is that yellow one? I love the way the seat stays are on that version.
  11. Picked this up from a friend who had it in the attic for 20+ years. I dont know much about it other than its a vector freestyle frame 2nd gen?? Its actually really lite and short. I thought it was cool and has a double brake bridge. So is this thing cool or what???
  12. Havent been near my computer till lastnight and couldnt even read anything in the threads till today. Was gonna enter my other bikes but owell all bikes for sale I am going to buy a new school to ride if and when I do. I will not be collecting bikes unless I see something worthy of picking up. I really love bmx and all the fun I had but just dont need to have more than I would ride. Any person want a super dialed bike built send it thats the only thing I am really into.
  13. ok I get where your coming from now.Just didnt want all or old finds to cloud this up. This year is lagging and I may enter my yellow challenger then but its got ti so that may be its downfall or my challenger cruiser or both???? go for a trifecta of s&m's.
