  1. That was a fun read. Did you end up using Mr. A's temporary paint job?
  2. I think he chopped up a Mongoose Californian And Cycle Pro Greg Hill Signature to "make" that thing.
  3. Curb Thrasher . . . . . . . a shitty department store bike that would break / bend/ fall apart after being ridden off of a curb
  4. IMO, if you are local to True Radius Bending, you should confirm that they did the repair and when and then decide from there.
  5. This is my first real bmx childhood bike I retrieved from my parent's place last year. Ken already helped me date it to a 1979. Since it is a Micro-Line, I'll never ride it any way so I thought I'd build it as micro/small expert using as many of my original parts as possible while embracing its intended size-bracket and searching for era-correct parts (also thinking sealed bullseye bb). I've checked the on-line Araya catalogs and haven't been able to suss a definitive answer. Any help or direction is appreciated.
  6. more pics coming when my global quota renews
  7. Here is the serial number on the bottom bracket shell (22479) of my Micro-Line. Last year KenC identified it on the museum as a 1979 which jibes with my memory of when I got it. Gonna start the clean up on it and picking up the last few parts to put it back together.
