  1. The crazy old guy will sell stuff to you, just take a huge wad of cash$, and he will sell stuff. Been there 3 times, bought stuff 2out of the three, but it cost me some good $ money.
  2. That is a sweet looking setup. What is the top tube length on your frame? I thought some of the early robbies had euro bottom brackets but were regular or standard size frames.
  3. I have some NOS MICRO-LINE decals dated 1982.
  4. whats a Banty Owl? The Banty is what DG calls their version of a pit. Damn,I guess I should have known that. wasnt a wasted day afterall,I learned somthing! The more I look at it the more I think the forks are bent back, like it got the ghost ride treatment into a curb. I still want it though.... The forks are not bent and it is definitely not a 20 inch frame or a junior frame it takes 16 inch wheels only and it will not take 20 1/8th inch wheels and tires they are even taller than a 20x1.75 inch wheel with a 1.75 inch tire on it..
  5. It has a stamped gusset and the forks are also stamped DG
  6. It is definitely a pit bike, I tried to bolt on a 20 inch wheel and it barely made it into the drop outs and the brake bridge was being touched by the tire.
  7. Definitely not a 20 inch frame, I will post some more pics of the brake bridge when I get a chance, a 20 inch wheel would not fit. And it has the tiny little crank arms as well.
  8. Is this a 1977 DG pitbike the serial number is on the bottom bracket 04487, it has a 3 bolt nitto stem, race inc or tufneck bars, kkt pedals, and cmc wheels with a shimano coaster brake rear hub. I was lucky enough to get it thanks to a call from a buddy who saw it on craiglist today.
  9. Builds killer old and new school bikes, looks good Rick.
  10. Is it me or is the one photo of Coy hudson showing his drive side crank arm on the left hand side of the bottom bracket?
  11. That is exactly what they look like, they are double thick as well, and I did find a serial number after all, it was hidden under some gunk. I will post some photos soon, It was in dire need of a good scrubbing.
  12. I know, my wife has the camera right now.
  13. Hey Guys I came across a cruiser today that I beleive is an Elf. It has all the Holes in the dropouts on the rear ones, but they are super super thick. The forks are threaded and the frame has no canti mounts, it has a pitbull brake with a round brake bridge on it. The headtube has the machined cups. I will take photos soon, just trying to get a little help identifying it. I cannot find a serial number on it anywhere either. If some one can post some photos of elf frame drop outs I would appreciate it, I tried looking in the archives and I am quite sure it is an elf. Any info would be great.
  14. It was a good time, I was glad I went and got to put faces to screen names and meet some people in person, it was a small turnout but good none the less. Hopefully the AZ crowd can do it again in the fall for a bbq or some type of ride( I know there is no beach or board walk in AZ but we can ride somewhere) or just hang out and shoot the breeze again, only when the temperature is below 100 degrees. There was good looking DG, the technique cruiser, the white ta, a cool looking one off Kastan with tuff wheels on it, and a couple of other nice looking rides there along with two of mine, but I always forget to bring a camera.
