  1. Thank you for the last post. I apreciate what you are saying. The honest truth is that my life is very full. I have two kids, a business, and a couple hobbies. I still ride and love bikes. I ride on the rode mostly and ocasionaly off road with my mountain bike. But if I rode my old bmx bike I would stress the frame and have cracks in no time. Also, at 41 years old I don't like crashes the way I once did. They used to be badges of honor when you had scabs on your knees and elbos, but now they just hurt! Thanks for the input, and the site bringing the memories back. Todd
  2. I guess I am in the wrong place then. I am certainly not trying to offend. I once shared the bmx passion. My memories are still fond ones. Maybe the people involved are different now. I will seek advice somewhere else. Thanks, Todd
  3. I think I somehow gave the wrong idea. Its not not about selling it, but getting it into the hands of someone who will love it the way I used to. But I will say that I don't want to be taken advantage of either. I had a local collector try that which is why I came to this site. I did find something very cool on this site. Vans! I am ordering a pair just like my old ones. Todd
  4. I raced BMX in Washington state back in the early 80's. I had a passion for equipement that stayed wityh me as an adult. While I retired from racing altogether a few years ago I raced road racing and time trialing for years. I kept my bmx bike all these years because I loved it so, but now as I realize there is such passion in collecting my bike should probably belong to someone who will do more with it than keep it with their 8 other race bikes in the basement. My phaze 1 is in very good shape as The original frame cracked at the z and I got a factory replacement just before I found girls and cars in my life. this frame was barely ever ridden. It is chrome, and original with cw pads, bareclaw pedals, cw bars, tuffneck, sealed bearing bottom bracket and hubs, and diacomp brakes. I have no idea of real value or the best way to sell it. Advice would be apreciated. Thanks, Todd N355TC@comcast.net
