  1. Not sure what date I picked up the Assassin, back in summer. Was offered for $60, couldn't say no to that! Still looking for new decals and matching forks. The bummer is, there is no way I will ever find chrome 1" threaded Landing Gear, in as nice of shape as the frame, for anywhere near what I paid for the frame. I'll probably have to spend 2 to 3 times or more the cost of the frame to get the forks... Not sure I'll go with Landing Gear if that's the case. Ginny's has some nice looking Redline forks for $30 that are really tempting me...
  2. Wow when i slack, I do a good job... sorry for the delay, camera was on loan, and I've had Pneumonia, been a crappy start to the year so far... But anyways, check out that pic, finally got the frame and decal sheet out and the camera home all at the same time... So now the question becomes, are those legit SE decals and just a rare miss print? Or are they just messed up repro decals? Anybody?
  3. Yup, now I gotta find another set for the frame, those are getting saved! I'll try to get a pic of my frame with the decal sheet next to it tomorrow and get it up on here. - Tim
  4. What a trip. I have a '91 second generation Assassin. I just got a full sheet of replacement decals for it last week, they are the blue/yellow color. I noticed immediately that the sword behind the name was gray on the new set, not black like on my frame, no biggie I thought... I also noticed they were a little shorter... I thought they must of changed the font or sizing slightly for different year decals maybe... Now this... Sure enough, decals on the frame say "Assassin". I just went and looked at the decal sheet and lo and behold they are "Assasin" decals. Can't believe I never noticed that.
  5. A buddy of mine had an interesting thought... He said it was cool how it showed US (the kids on bikes) imitating motorcycles and them racing at the beginning... And then the progression... He said he thought it would of been cool to end it, by showing how the motorcyle guys NOW imitate US with their MX dirt jumping freestyle stuff to close out the footage.
  6. I'd like one please Jeff, if you have any left. Thanks - Tim
  7. Scott is talking with Perry Kramer about a "signature sticker" for the frame. Why get a Kappa version of the P.K.? Well if Perry approves who am I to say no? Besides, it will be 100% made in the USA, with 100% CHROMOLY FLOVAL tubing... Do you know of even ONE chromoly P.K.? Didn't think so... New school geometry... Perry Kramer on board... This is going to be my second Kappa, and first P.K. frame...
