Alright mate. I'm also a brit & i agree with you about the decent freestyle stuff we used to get. I had a chrome burner myself BITD but what i really wanted was a DP Firebird Freestyler. Those things were awsome but well outta my price range. I think the f&f alone were more than my burner!
Anyway, fast forward 25+ years & i'm lookin for a cheap bmx to mess about with my kids on & i'm lookin on ebay & the firebird is there but still outta my reach but there's also this NOS 84' Aero Reflex f&f on there. Well, now i'm in the process of building this bike into something like the ones i drooled over as a kid & was amazed to find you can still get most of the parts that i could'nt afford back then.
It's about 3/4 finished now & i can't wait to get on it. I'm using all NOS stuff but this thing won't be a show pony.
As soon as it's done i'll put some pics on here & you can let me know what you think.
