  1. I put DC 1080's on mine. Look at all the PK's with 1000's on them. The wheels are slammed in the drops. I don't like doing that so, instead of just trying to be cool and put the 1000's on it I opted for functionality and used 1080's. Stops on a dime and the wheel is centered in the drop.
  2. I got these off the Fleabay. Any thoughts?
  3. Bump for S&S. I guess there's not a whole lot of these things around right?
  4. Go right ahead "big boy". It's all yours. Your comment only confirms my opinion of you guys. See ya.
  5. I think a lot of these guys collect os bmx stuff because they think they can make lots of money off of the parts and bikes they buy. Why else would you care if a repop looks like an og? If you just were in love with your old Hutch that you had since you were 13 then you would be satisfied and wouldn't care what was going on around it. The same guys were tearing Greg hill a new one in a thread where I posted something similar. Such hatred around here. Do your thing John. I never was a big Hutch fan but I'm glad you are keeping them alive. Ok, fire suit on. flame away.
  6. I've read many threads with people complaining about this new frame. I understand the concerns I guess but, I don't really understand all the disdain for Greg. Are any of the big complainers really going to be the ones that are fooled by this new frame? There are real fakes in every collectible item or hobby on earth. Stuff that is made with the intention of be sold as the real deal. These frames are not like that. They are reproductions with new and unique serial #'s. How many 82-83 OG GHP's are out there in the world? They will always be worth more to a collector that these. A "collector" knows and can tell the difference. That's what collecting is all about. How many new to "the" hobby collectors get taken on fake coins? or stamps? or furniture? I'm not saying it's right or condoning it but it happens. Know what you are buying before you buy it. I have nothing but respect for Greg Hill and GHP and I hope he can keep his business alive. These frames look awesome. I'm sure all you "purist" and "real" collectors will dismiss my comments or bash them but in the end it doesn't matter to me. Go GHP!!!
  7. I don't think I saw Schwinn Sting Bars listed or posted in this thread. The NZ Pantha bars look like them sorta. People act like they are not rare but someone show me a set. They are pulling some large coin when they do show up.
  8. Well, check this out. I bought a mini Sting fork not knowing it was for a mini. After much thought I decided that living in the heart of nascar country and with a lot of fabricators around here I took them to a custom motorcycle shop near by and had them lengthen the steer tube. Mortons Custom Cycles They did a great job. Before After What do you think?
  9. Well. My dumb ass just bought a set of those mini Sting forks from Rini's not realizing they were for a mini. I thought, "My god! NOS Sting forks for $100.00!! I better scoop them up before they're gone." That's the cost of an education I guess. Well since I live in the land of Nascar fabricators I may try and lengthen the steer tube. I'll let you guys know if I do. I'll post pics.
  10. Well, That explains the forks I have. :bigemo_harabe_net-108:
  11. I have 2 sets of newer landing gear forks that came with my 03 PK Ripper and neither of them have holes in the dropouts.
