  1. Hey Br9knrun all 3 of the Boss's I have also look like the forks are bent but they are all the same slightly forward looking like yours. I wouldn't be doing any ghosty's on it, nice bike!
  2. ok all you s.o.b's out there im going to build a new school boss frame, fork. and bars as a prototype and see how many of you out there like it. euro bottom bracket and all. Darren (DCBMX) hooked me up with some extra parts to reverse engineer a boss. so lets see what happens. by the way im a certified welder so it will be high end. How is the new bike coming along? Any photo's yet?
  3. That is a pro racer, the baby blu frame is my brothers Hey Cecil Johns fan, thanks to you I am now also a fan!!! Very inspirational and charismatic guy by the looks of the Youtube links and the myspace page for him. I was sponsored by our local bike shop and there son was the importer of Boss (Tony Pemmer) into Australia so Boss is what we had and I loved it. So Boss was always in my blood and now I just wish I had met the late great Cecil Johns BITD. Cheers John
  4. Well I'd say going off your serial number 87-88, I have seached long and hard for info on the serial numbers and I know when my bike was purchased roughly. I am of the opinion that the letter in the serial number is the indicator for the year. I may be wrong but that's all i can come up with. Here is a link to mine (you may need to look up midschool bikes then 87-88 Boss Survivor as I tried the link and it doesn't work properly) http://www.vintageoldschoolbmx.com/smf/index.php/topic,963.0.html Cheers John
