Is there another way to take apart these pedals besides grinding down the rivets? Thanks.

Thanks for all the killer complements. I bought this set up in the mid 80s from the original owner who never built it up for his son. I bought with the intentions of building it for my nephew. Twenty four years later I thought about building it for my 7 year old daughter. After some long and grueling nights staying up thinking about selling I finally decided to sell. I'm currently awaiting to finalize the deal.
