  1. Sorry, I haven't checked this post in a while. That's funny though. If it was true that would be hilarious. I did talk to McGoo and he confirmed that the difference in the brake bridge was just because they ran out of one and had to use the other. I real reason.
  2. Yeah for sure, I'm really impressed with the death truck. I remember bending my performer bars learning that trick cuz i got mad and threw my bike as far a i could. So what's up Ditchweed. I've just been riding and working. Hope to see you this year when we come for the races.
  3. Thanks for all the nice things everyone has to say. Just want to say the BMX for me is for sure a complete life style. I usually take my bike with me on a daily basis just in case i get a chance to ride. I'm hoping to still be riding many years from now. I remember in high school they asked us seniors what we'll be doing in ten years. I said catching air at the pipeline. We'll here we are 24 years later and although it's not at the pipeline it's where ever I get a chance to. Thanks again for all the support at the jam and through this site
  4. Yeah that was my bike i built up in 06. My buddy from Jr high had one of them and I wanted it soooo bad. Never got one. So I found one and built it up. I hooked up with that friend from Jr high and guess what he still had the bike. I have it now and I'm gonna build it up and give it back to him. I was so pumped to see it.
  5. Yeah, I've been in the motocross industry going on 20 years now. I currently have my own business training riders. I work with Jake Weimer, Kyle Cunningham and a couple of amateur riders just recently turned pro. Dakota and Myles Tedder.
  6. I was super stoked on the turnout that we got with all the riders and people just hanging out. I've already mentioned all this but wanted to give a special shout to Stephen Murray. He's a great guy and for sure a great mentor for the sport of BMX. 1st time I met him he was kinda shy and showed up at Heath Pinters house with Cory Nastazio. I think he had just arrived to the states. Maybe he just seemed shy because he was with Cory. Everyone is shy compared to him. Stephen Stay Strong Buddy you have so much love around you from your extended BMX family you can't begin to know them all. Thanks for coming out. Let me know if you need more tickets to the SX's this year.
  7. Sweet pics, Thanks for comin' out and hangin' out with us. I had a great time and look forward to riding with old friends again in the near future.
  8. Man we lucked out on the wheather. We had our first rains in the past couple weeks. And snow a lower elevations. But it lifted and we hit the 80's for the 80's Jam. I guess it was meant to be...
  9. Yeah he will for sure, I got his number and he lives near me. I'm gonna drag him to some ramps we ride on tues.
  10. I just want to thank everyone who showed up and supported a good day of riding and hanging out. I for sure saw alot of friends from the past who have always been a big part of my life. All the memories of riding and competing. I really enjoyed the Jam circles yesterday. Just sitting back and watching. Eddie the show off just like he always was, Jeff Cotter alway up on the bars, Robert Castillo hasn't missed a beat as well as Ron McCoy (winner of the Hang five). We couldn't keep Danny Hubbard off the mic which was a blessing because I hate talking on those things. With Derick Orie jumping in the jam circles was like it was yesterday we were riding at the spot. Then just looking around and seeing Tony Murray, Brian Blyther, Mike Dominguez, Todd Anderson, I was stoked to see Allan Cook, TJ Ellis, Luke Parslow those guys kill it. All the locals that came out and killed it. Little kids showing everyone how to go high. Almost a lost art (just blasting off a quarter pipe). For sure a big thanks to Shane for letting us use his park, Aaron Cook for his support and help, John Povah (Etnies), Mcgoo (Snafu) and for sure Gale Webb and Scott B (SE Racing). I don't know how to spell his last name. Anyone and Everyone that showed up made this event what it was. Thank you all and well do it bigger next time.
  11. Thanks Rick, This site has been cool. I have talked with friends on here that I have thought of for years. That's kinda why I wanted to do this event. Were really kinda winging it but it will be fun and I'm sure there will be plenty of people there excited about it. I've never put on any event of any kind but this is such a passion for me I kinda jumped in with both feet.
  12. sweet, Should be a good turnout. Doesn't matter whoever shows up we'll have a good time. I have a few bikes as well. I'm hoping we see alot of bikes from collectors and just bikes people have kept around. It's odd that most of the bikes I have are BMX race type bikes when I never raced always Flatland, Ramps, Dirt. Oh well bikes are cool. Just finished building a new s&m cam wood for one of the riders I train. He needed a bike to ride tomorrow but doesn't ever ride BMX. Much less ramps or Flat. Should be entertaining. ]
  13. Rick, Thanks for showing the interest. I hope you stay on the right path and continue to stay involved in with the BMX stuff. I know many people that stuck with BMX because it's a passion and it helped them through many tough times. If/When your out in Cali let me know and hopefully we can meet up and ride. ]
  14. Sweet, I'm pumped on the response that I've been getting on this event. I tried to make it down for your b-day party but ran late and couldn't get there on time. I look forward to seeing everyone.
