So I picked up the MCS 26" tonight and took some quick pics in the hallway. If anybody has info on this bike I would really appreciate it. Serial number 668, the owner thought it was around an 81 but wasn't sure. Ended up paying $220 Canadian for it. The Araya's are MINT!!!! You will also notice he threw in a set of 26" stadium tires that were used on one indoor race. After sitting in a garage for all this time they are DRY!!!! Can they be brought back to life? I just talked to him and he wants $250, I can probably get it for $200 with the cash in my hand. His dad does not care what happens to the bike, though he said it would be cool if the bike would end up on the track again....which I would gladly do!!! Thanks for the help.

So here's the story.... I work at a local music store and a customer who comes in quite a bit sees that I am wearing an SE shirt. We get to talking and it turns out that we raced together back in the 80's. He tells me that he still has his dad's old MCS Magna Cruiser in the garage and if I'm interested he will sell it to me. Here's the bike MCS 26" Magna Cruiser frame and fork (BTW the frame serial number is 668) Kuwahara Cruiser bars Araya rims (blue) with Suntour hubs Mongoose 1 piece cranks Vector pedals (DX copies) Anything rubber is dried, cracked and worn from the sun and will have to be replaced. The bike other than that is MINT!!!!! We took it down from where it hung in the garage for the last 20+ years. What is this thing worth? What do I offer him? I want to ride it!!!!
