  1. What a great time! Thank you to the Society staff ONCE AGAIN for all of the hard work. Bummed I'm already back in San Diego...
  2. Traffic on Fridays coming into HB is pretty bad so leave early if you want to make it. In the past we've advertised the meet up at the HB Pier at 5Pm so that we roll out closer to 5:30. The ride to the Balboa Pier is about an hour (with a few stops along the way). Food and drinks at the Cabo Cantina can go for a couple of hours (all night for some) and then the ride back to HB. A few tips for those doing the ride. 1) Bring lights for your bike, the cops have handed out their fair share of tickets in the past. They might not get us all but they will get a few. 2) If you park at the pay lots surrounding the HB Pier, you must be out of that lot by 10pm. The tow trucks move in right at 10pm, we've seen it. I would advise you park in the surrounding neighborhoods and ride to the HB Pier. Might be a few blocks but save your money for the Cabo Cantina...
  3. Diggin' it for sure, nice parts selection on this.
  4. He does have a buddy do the buying for him (and some building). He's purchased 3 bikes from a friend of mine.
  5. i need some info on a saxophone. Patrick, hit up via PM on here or on the museum if you really need info on a saxophone.
  6. 5th Annual San Diego BBQ/BMX/Ride @Mission Bay Park - Crown Point A few quick details for this event: SATURDAY, August 25th, 2012. We have a permit this year so the park Ranger won't bother us (for that at least) No awards here, just tons of bikes, chill folks, grilled food, great scenery and a ride along the boardwalk. There is no alcohol allowed per SD park laws (I think they are on to the red cups so be creative) There is no selling allowed (huge fines for that) so it will have to be WAY behind the scenes; no "for sale" signs, no displays, etc. Keep the stuff in your car/truck. Bring your own food and grills! This is a family friendly scence so bring the wife and kids There is plenty of parking but if you want some prime real estate, get there early (I'll be set up by 8am). Bring a canopy (and sun screen), even San Diego gets warm! Due to the cost of the permit, we are asking that EVERYONE that brings at least one bike to show or ride donate at least $5 to recover the cost of the permit. You can give the money to TMAC or Yons1 the day of the event. We look forward to seeing plenty of people out. EVERYONE from So Cal and beyond is invited, no drama here folks. Hope you can all make the drive down for this! Map of BBQ & Ride coming soon... ...additional information on www.BMXOUTSIDERS.com to follow This is a drama free event...
  7. I agree, that one is the sickness right there...
