I think a lot of people would disagree with that. I'm just repeating what came out of his mouth (or typed). I tend to believe him as opposed to some lady how many years ago. Anyway, I'm now the owner of this one set of cranks that no one has a clue about. My set is the same one in the original picture with the Redline stickers removed. Someone solve this on going mystery please.

it looks like super duralumin. did she say she actually put those decals on? someone asked about the alloy duralumin cranks awhile back... i dont recall if anyone had any info She did not say that she put them on there, it is a new yst bottom bracket, she got this stuff in 1989 when she bought the remaining stock of nos parts from Redline when they sold out to Seattle Bike Supply. The decals have been on them for a long time but they are the same decals you find on redline frames that say redline all chromoly. I just got another email from Linn Kastan of original Redline. NOBODY ever purchased remaining stock before it went to Seattle.

Well if anybody is interested in this at all. On a hunch (thanks Racer) was able to get in touch with one Linn Kastan. The original owner of Redline until 1988 when it went to SBS. The original owner of cranks stated she bought up the old Redline inventory before it went to Seattle, so anything pre-1988. Linn stated to me that in his ownership of Redline they never produced or had anything produced along those cranks. I guess I still have to believe these were made by Anlun along the same time frame they made the CW's. Identical arms, spindle size, 1/2" pedal bosses and spider mounting of Anlun Aero spider. These are 185's, maybe a oneoff for someone? I guess I'll call them Anlun Aero's. Mystery continues. Mark

I know this is a real old post, but did anyone find any info over time.I know one thing that is being mistaken in all this, CW cranks that had the 1/2" pedal bosses used a standard square taper (not larger Anlun) BB.
