  1. Wow... I haven't seen these pics for years. I finally went to see what pictures or magazines I had left and I don't have a whole lot. I was bummed. So thank you for the good words and pics. Great times and lasting memories.
  2. Hey Craig, Its good to here you're alive and well. Just talked to Cep the other day to. Alot of good memories bro. We should talk. You rock!! Todd Welcome to the site Craig - it's a great place to chill and connect. And if this is the Camarillo Todd Anderson - welcome as well! If not - welcome none the less! Howdy.......you're welcome
  3. Yes I lived in Oxnard at the time and then Camarillo. I was really young and dont remember when it closed. It would be an amazing park to ride today. I rode Pipeline 1 or 2 time a month with Fiola up until they closed. I remember Eddie getting to ride 1 last time without any fences. Mr. Hoffman wouldn't let anyone else ride that day. It was a sad day.
  4. Todd- What are you riding? I'm riding a Redline Slant with the coaster hub welded to the frame. It works great as long as I don't get a flat. Its a little on the heavy side but I love it. The coaster was floating around the big drop outs so I just weld it. Gotta have the coaster. Gork at Redline has been good to me the last 7 or so years. They just gave me other bike last month. I still do a few shows here and there with Eddie Fiola and after our last show he just couldn't handle how rigged my bike was looking so he called and got another bike. Its a 7.1xL and beautiful right out of the box. Haven't put the coaster on that bike yet. Trying to figure out how to put a small enough sprocket on the drive. I've never really got into working on my bikes that much. I just figured it's just gonna break eventually. Most of the new school bikes I've rode are way better than the old school stuff. The whole threadless fork thing just feels way more solid. All the XL frames are killer. The aluminum Quad with a coaster was my all time favorite. The Redline 21.5 XL aluminum was another great bike. I was pretty blessed to be apart of the SE and Redline and Vans Family. They had the best bikes and always treated me like family and still do. Todd
  5. The photo of Mike at the Kona skatepark was crazy. Years later I finally got to hit that quarter thinkin it would be really great and it was terrible. The worst transition with big kinks, which pissed me off even more cause I kept thinkin, how the hell did Mike hit this piece of crap and go so high.
  6. I skated at the Endless Wave way before I got on a bike. I think I was in 3rd or 4th grade we would go after church on Sundays. They put a street and a Burger King over the park. I drive down that rode often. It was an amazing park. It didnt last very long.
  7. Coaster brake then and coaster brake now. I say whatever works. I go to the local skatepark and the kids dont get it at all. I'll do a trick and they ask me where is your back brake? I just point. It's in the back. Kids today.....
  8. Hey everybody, Thanks for havin' me. I've been watching this site for a while and I figured I'd jump in. I just got a new ride from Redline last week and rode the skatepark today. No coaster yet but its comin'. Still doing shows once or twice a year with Fiola just for fun. I still ride coaster with my front brakes (lever on the right). No one has ever told me it was wrong and it just feels right to me. Those pics are all really great memories. Its an honor to be a small part of this cool sport. later, Todd
