have a older bike that doesnt have the back brake bar. anyone have a solution for this , am wanting to run free wheel with hand brake. need some type of sandwich clamp , that will clamp to the frame do they sell something like this . any suggestions. thanks

that was what i used that i took off . the one i am talking about is the hand brake style i think one of the scanned adds that you posted i think , it shows a 3 speed with hand brake assemble . i know they are probably hard to find . wonder if they make something like that new. from some of the adds i am guessing by the pics. mine is a mx1 mx2 or mx3.

I USED A PAIR OF DAIL CALIBERS TO TAKE SOME MEASUREMENTS HOPING SOME OF YOU PROS COULD TELL ME WHAT TO LOOK FOR. THEY ARE SEAT TUBE. .875-.890 , CRANK HOLE 2.10 - 2.20 , HEAD 1.270- 1.280. ALSO I AM WANTING TO RUN A COASTER WHEEL RIM BUT THERE IS NO PLACE FOR THE BRAKE, WHAT APPLICATION WAS USED . HAVE SEEN THEM ON OTHER BIKES SEARCHING THE NET. IF ANY OTHER INFO IS NEEDED I WILL TRY TO ANSWER THEM BEST I CAN . POWDER GUY WILL BE DONE IN A WEEK AND I DONT HAVE ONE PART TO START MY PRODJECT . I DONT WANT TO USE NEW PARTS . PLEASE HELP.THANKS

i like the olde & mid bikes looks, but new is ok . just going to ride with my son mainly neighbor hood as he gets older trails . i my self have tried his new age 20" mongoose it is too short . my kids wanted me to ride a wheely so i did 3 feet and it flrew out from under me. that is where i got my site name from my wife . she called me an old kid. just matched.

I AM 6' 2" AND LOOKING FOR A 24 " BIKE , REALLY NOT FOR SURE WHAT TO GET . I FOUND A NICE CLAYBORN 24 , BUT WAS TOLD TO STAY AWAY FROM ALUMINUM FRAMES. WHAT ARE SOME GOOD BIKES TO CONSIDER. WILL USE IT FOR STREET AND SOMTIMES TRAIL RIDDING WITH MY SON.

i found my old 76-77 panda , it needs total restoration. heres my trouble when i got the frame i put parts from another bike on it, that was huffy ? . i am needing all the parts to restore it. i would like to stay with closer to what it should have backin the day. can someone give me the run down on what i should have. would like the free wheel rear rim or 3 speed sprocket. i am a green horn so i really need the help. thanks old kid
