Stopping rust from the inside out. I do this to all the steel frame bikes I build. When the bike is disassembled, spray the inside of every tube with penitrant oil(I use WD-40). You should see the stuff that comes out of bikes that have been neglected.

Very Cool. I too also have two future BMXer's. My boy who is 3 1/2 loves to ride. Or atleast attemps to with training wheels. My daughter on the other hand, 2yrs old also, a mini me. She can't get enought of her tricycle. Trying to stand on the handlebars, hanging wheelies on the steps. Are our daughters seperated at birth? I have a 86' GT Mach One that I'm saving for my son, but I think I need to look for a bike for her. I'm glad to see the next generation of BMXer's coming along. Learning about the O/S bikes and the pioniers of the sport. Rock on.
