  1. Sounds like you are enjoying this as much as your son, thats awsome. I raced on and off for about five years when I was a kid, nothing steady as I had trouble getting transportation, but it was a huge part of my life. last year I got my son and a couple of kids from my neighborhood into racing and now have about 20 kids from the town into racing with us. usally about 10 of them actually show up at one time. Age range is 9 to 19 and me and my buddy from bitd. Taking 5 of them to Ky. to race presidents cup and christmas classic.
  2. I had the Huffy version of this bike back in 1976, wish I could find it today. extreme coolness on the find.
  3. I think I may have pee'd a little, funny shit there
  4. Just finished a 89 Robinson sst and a Dyno Blast about 92, I have 6 builds lined up: one i'm working on now is a 89 GT vertigo, than a 92 Redline RL240 freestyle next in no certain order 85 schwin predator, 98 royce union torch and 94 royce union t-18, and my survivor 82 cpx200 Peugeot
  5. Had a simular event today. Went riding with a group of 8 at a park in Williamstown, NJ today, but got to crowded with young bucks and scooters,so we went to school parking lot and a dog was running around the shool yard with us. Not a pitbull though.
  6. Really liking the way this is turning out. Great choices
  7. Took a big ride on Sunday with a group of guys from my area and an 11 year old kid who borrowed a 20" haro from me cut me off and wiped me and him out. I went down hard messed up my knee and acs rim on my '81 24" cruiser and back wheel on my haro. What a way to start the first warm day of the year.
  8. Makes total sense... Philly is very close to Clementon / South Jersey. I'm there very often, A bunch of members of this site live (and ride) in South Jersey all the time. I'd love a new Bike friendly park that close to the city. Keep us updated on the progress. Will do. Already had some pro riders out at the site to see what would fit, and have talked to two contracters. Hope to see before season ends this year{not that there is an actual season}
  9. The bike is realy sweet. Do you ride south jersey ever, and if so maybe I'll see you around. I sit on the town coucil in Clementon and I am pushing for a bike friendly skate park, and talking to NBL about a track in town, so if your in the area look me up. By the way, my ramblings are because I see u are from Philly.
