  1. Green Griffin PM me your address and I will send you one! To everyone else that has contacted me I think I PMed all of you back. If I missed you for some reason just PM me again. I have set aside several free stickers for the people that contacted me. That is probably all I am giving away for now. When I decide to post some of them up for sale I will let everyone know. Woody you are first in line if I decide to get rid of the SST one. Thanks to everyone that contacted me. I will be sending out the promised stickers within the next couple of days. Thanks. that's about as cool as it gets.
  2. They did make a xxl. It was one of the first frame I owned when I started collecting. Got it from my LBS owner, who raced it in the early 90's. I sold it to a Vintage member in 05/06. The previous owner had to put a ding in the chain stay for crank clearance for 180's. Kinda wish I would have kept that one.
  3. I don't have any pics, but the forks are a different diameter than the 83's also. at least the one at my LBS is different.
  4. put me down for one of each galindo decals, if there's any left.
  5. That's greats...so why did GH say they are exact replicas when they are not? Could have saved himself a lot of aggravation. I usually don't assume however I will and guess the OG legs are 1 inch in diameter? Maybe he is not aware of this. My guess is the manufacturer screwed up. I know Greg sent a set of OS forks over to have the dropouts copied and to use for reference. Pang or Tao or whoever welded them up, was told to make forks and they grabbed normal (for today) sized tubes.
  6. The fork legs are 1-1/8" dia tube, so that will be a dead giveaway.
  7. Why would you use a pipe tape to measure tubing??? Pipe and tubing are two different materials. Measured two different ways... Circumference : Pi will give you the OD of either. I'm not sure If I can get a good enough cross section near the dropout, to measure the diameter. Pipe and tube are not measured different ways. They are sized differently. As a general rule tube is OD sized and pipe is ID sized. pipe's a little tricky because the differences in schedule sizes.
  8. Thanks for the link. why couldn't I find that when I did a search?
  9. Laid my hands on one Monday, Their shouldn't be any confusion at all. serial numbers are different, forks are different and dropouts are slightly different. Anyone who does a little research should be able to tell the difference. Dropouts are thicker on the forks and the leg diameter is larger, I believe. I'm taking my pipe tape home tonight to verify. I'm sure some shady SOB will try to pass one off at some point. Very nice Replica frame sets. I want one, but it's just not in the budget.
  10. I wondered if that was the reason for the redesign. They were pretty much identical to sonlites. I need to find that ad again. It's a small 1/4 page ad so the hubs are tiny in the pic.
  11. I've been digging for a few days with no luck. Database only has one set pictured, and they are derringers. I have one magazine ad in a BMX action that shows the hubs, but its' a small add. They are drilled through like sonlites. Any pics and info would be great.
  12. One question, Is it one of the completes or just a frame you built up. It dosent matter either way, but for curiosity's sake I'm curious.
  13. They also look like GT cruiser bars. maybe the crossbar is different. I sold mine years ago.
  14. +1 I'm sure Greg will take care of it, if you give him a shout. That pic is fresh out of the box and it's a little hard to see the welds because of the flash.
