I remember that wheel being in my garage for the longest time. Traded for some parts to complete my team sport at the time. Still wish I had my Hutch cruiser though..
I have to say it is really incredible how accurate these replica builds are and how much detail is taken to make sure every detail is correct. I remember every one of those bikes from Bob Haro's 1st gen master to Mike D's bike which he rode in the combi pool at Pipeline a pulled the tailwhip fly out on.
What a display! From the pictures i've seen it really seems to show the evolution of the product.
Hey Chris, I am really like the way the Huntington Beach replica came out congratulations on your award!!
I have a short story about that bike... I had a 78' Yamaha RD 400 that I had first painted the neon green with a spray can. I really liked the color of it so I stripped the white paint off an older Sport frame I had in my collection of bikes. So I painted it with the same spray cans a couple of days before the contest and took it to the event. Bob was a little irritated because I removed the frame sticker from my bikes but oh well. This was the first time anyone had seen neon painted anything and a few months later made it into the magazine pages. What ensued in the coming weeks was phone call after phone call to Haro's office from kids and bike shops asking for neon green bikes.
I pulled the same stunt a couple months later at an AFA contest at pipeline this time my spray can layed down this trippy lookin aqua blue hue also without the stickers and a few month later the world had neon green masters and aqua blue sports the two best selling colors to date...

Hey Homies, What is up?
Sorry, It has taken me so long to get to the site. But since I'm here just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the site for the warm welcome and the updated VIP status. It was really cool to see so many of the old school pro's at the Freestyling party. It has been a long time since I have see everyone together so I'm really glad everyone is doing well.
I'll have to clear a path to the back of my garage to get to my bikes but I'm game to go ride sometime so let me know..

Hey Alvin,
I also enjoyed meeting you at the event and having an opportunity to catch up with everyone, too bad they shut the doors so early I would have hung out a lot longer. I will definately need to come check out your ramp, sounds like fun. I will be in touch soon.
Will someone tell Tony Murray and Fiola to check their e-mail!! You guys both know me pretty well but I want to see if you can guess who I am before I give up my ID. You ask the old school questions and I will provide the answers..
OG but not OM
Hey Tony,
Just remember that it doesn't hurt any worse than it used to it just takes longer to heal.
I took my lumps for a while when I jumped back on after 20 somethin years. Somehow
the only time I remember you being injured is when you had that cast on your left hand at Del Mar...
