  1. Updated the JMC with some very rare blue anodized Lyotard 460D pedals. Also added a small JMC shield to the passenger side of the fork!
  2. Thought I would share here first! A few weeks ago I did some trading with Adam Cox and ended up with this May of 1978 JMC Short frame and Cook Bros. Racing mini fork. The frame was originally delivered to Larry Campbell for his son Sean. The frame was delivered white but the Campbells wanted it chrome plated. Larry immediately sent the frame out and had it chrome plated as you see it. Even though it's not factory chrome it's probably the earliest chrome plated JMC around! The chrome is not perfect but shows well. The frame decals are original JMC from Adam's stash! The CBR mini fork still wears it's original nickel finish and a new fork leg decal. I built this as a nice trick little race bike for a 10 year old rider. There are a couple of small items I will swap out once I have them in hand. With the help and consulting with Adam, Rick Gaytan, Michael Gamstetter, Jason Teraoka and a few others I came up with this. Most of the finishes are original except the fork decal and red Grab On bar ends. 1978 JMC Short Frame 1978 Cook Bros Racing mini fork Weinmann model 250 rims 1970s Campagnolo Record high flange hubs NOS Campagnolo track Axles & hardware Stainless steel spokes Cheng Shin 1.75 C18s front tire Safe-Tee 1.75 rear tire 1970s Cinelli Unicanitor wishbone saddle 7/8 od. .080 aluminum tube seat post Schwinn AS seat clamp Black vinyl snap pads Peugeot stamped SR Jelly Bean stem Tange AW-27 headset 1971 Campagnolo Record Crank set 1970s Campagnolo Rifled Record Bottom Bracket 1970s Campagnolo Record 68-SS-120 spindle Campagnolo crank bolts & caps Campagnolo Pista chainring hardware 1970s drilled SR 44t chainring 1970s NOS Regina Extra Catena Ciclo Record 3/32" drilled chain 1978 Shimano 333 3/32" 16t freewheel Atom pedals 1978 Shimano Tourney rear brake caliper 1970s Weinmann red dot lever 1970s blue alloy handlebars 1978 Grab On grips Thanks again Adam for the great frame & fork!
  3. Jason! Great find! You're thinking of Miles Gleason. I'll see if I can get him to take a peak at this for you.
