  1. JG is on the radio right now.... JG till midnight. call 253-833-5004 to request a song.
  2. I know you wouldn't diss me Steve....you'd rather take me over a berm!! I was actually going to try to hit that race but had a family reunion deal on the Oregon Coast that I had to attend. I would have been moto-fill or in the hospital anyway cause I haven't been riding the BMX much lately...getting ready for Cyclocross season. Bend is hosting the Cyclocross nationals (like the Grands) for the next two years....middle of December...should be interesting! There was a non-sanctioned BMX race in Astoria on Saturday, sponsored by Mountain Dew. I'm not sure how it went, couldn't get there either. Anyone even hear about that race? It was at the fairgrounds on a freshly built track which looked pretty good the week before the race. Anyway, maybe we should do a few of those races in OR next year...? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out this link: Redline/Torker video I had recently started working at SBS (1997) and decided to mix a video including Redline and Torker BMX. The video includes Scott Matual racing AA pro at a rainy Sumner National and Steve Clark racing for Torker there, too. Then there is a classic Steve Clark brake check on Ron Nolan and Tony at the indoor.... Spook Woods, Brent Lee on RL, Gary Ellis at Sumner (with John Purse), the back of SC's mullet....ending with a classic unrehearsed moment via Steve Clark at the end. (it's sorta a diss to matty but it's all in the family.....no wait, it's on the internet now!!....sorry Scott!) I'm actually a little embarrassed to upload this crappy footage but I had to. Remember when watching this video: I had very little footage to use, was recording Hi-8 to Hi-8 then transferred to VHS and back to digital....don't laugh!!
  3. Logan Owen with a nice photo at the Road Nationals in Bend. (in the local newspaper) http://www.bendbulletin.com/apps/pbcs.dll/...p;nav_category=
  4. 1 set of barely used DXR 175mm crank set, bottom bracket, chainring (and bolts)..... $350......free shipping to NW USA riders.
  5. Is keyboard diarrhea considered a handicap? "Clean up, lane 5!"
  6. Where has Arch been during the 30+ series????
  7. I haven't been out to the track too much lately myself...Riley is not interested in racing right now. Come to think about it, the Redmond nats was my last I raced BMX..... btw- still waiting for the Vandero hubs... mike
  8. A few weeks ago in Bend was the Bend Bike Film Festival. The promoter of the festival called the High Desert BMX track and asked them to submit a 1-5 minute video about BMX since they did not have any BMX videos at all. The Film Festival was held at the Tower Theater in Bend, Oregon (think really small Paramount Theater) and all of the vids were played on the 'big screen'. This is what a threw together in about a week for the festival. As always, I wish I had more time to shoot and edit.... High Desert BMX Promo Video Here's the YouTube Version It's here too. 9. That's such a stupid rule. If it's obvious, call it. If not, then let us race!! We can sort it out amongst ourselves afterward. You should of seen how many people were DQ'd during the OR state Championships last year in Grant's Pass. In 30+ years of racing I've never seen that many people get DQ'd. I tell you....give some people a little power and look what happens!! Let's see some of those calling the fouls get on the track and pedal 110% in a straight line!!!
  10. Nope....can't compete with those other guys. They brought back hack racing after all!
  11. That looks like a sweet layout. Side Hack racing would be pure carnage on that first straight and corner!
  12. Nice one, Coop! I love your OS plate, numbers and Zeronine decal!!
  13. maybe they are midgets and those are finger bikes
