I don't remember that day in particular, I was probably only 6 or 7!! I took a digital picture of these viewmaster pictures from that same era. I didn't want to open the plastic containers and break them. My Dads shop. Photo taken by helicopter....around mid 80's??? Have it hanging up in my room, kinda cool picture with all the old cars!

The frame I posted is steel of some sort. Were the steel frames breaking as well, or just the aluminum frames/forks? Thanks for the info........

A friend of mine had put on a brand new set of these in anodized red. That was 1996 or 1997. I think they were produced in 1996 though. Of course I can't vouch for the GT, Powerlite, or Robinson cranks that used this aluminum splined spindle. I'm talking about the cool CNC'D type cranks like you have pictured which I believe are 1996 vintage. Hope this helps.

I have never heard of this company "Grinders Products". I have searched the web, but nothing came up. Does anyone have any info on this company/frame. Maybe it's something else other than Grinders Products, but looks to have original stickers. I can't find a serial number anywhere on the frame. The guy I got it from says he only painted the blue areas, and the red is original paint. Check out the chain stay wish bone, it's welded slightly off center. Guess it works in conjunction with the offset brace behind the seat tube? Any help would be awesome, thanks!
