  1. Just picked up a pair of these. They are really neat. I am basing a 70's build off of them. Light for the era.
  2. Mark your calendars!!! Meet: Saturday June 5th - Noon Place: Colorado Springs, Colorado America the Beautiful Park (Free Parking!) http://www.pprrun.org/directions/america_the_beautiful_park.htm To those new to the Colorado BMX rides, we alternate between Colorado Springs , Denver, and Fort Collins to try to include as many people as possible. The rides are very basic. Usually from age 6 to 50. We arrange a little swap meet after, and often hit a local pub for some food and a beer. This is very family friendly, and we always run into cool stuff to bunny hop or crash. Great chance to meet some other local BMX enthusiasts! Ok. PM me for contact info so no one gets lost! Hope to see you there! www.bmxcolorado.com
  3. try the museum. Just about every bike there has fake decals Have a post there as well. What does one do if they cannot find "real" decals?
  4. "I always thought the rockies would be a lot....rockier. Yeah, that John Denver is full of CRAP!"
  5. Oops. I had it straight last time. Let me see what I can do. Ok, no delete. Please do. I will repost! Thanks!!

  8. Man, all the kids in my neighborhood were trying to figure out what to remove from their coasterbrakes to get freewheel and no pedalback as well. It was always sad. Like you I liked a freewheel and adapted to pedaling backwards. My first freecoaster I was a little shocked (86/87 rl edge wheelset). I would do a routine and still pedal backwards at the appointed time. It took a long time to get my head around it. I just bought a geisha. Maybe now I will figure it out.
  9. I always feel "oldschool" until I see ads like that. So awesome!!! :D
  10. Now. We are riding next weekend. I hate to leave anyone out. State-wise we can probably get to 15 or so. Denver alone is a pathetic 5 or so. I am reaching out. But, who do you remember from bitd?
  11. I have used goo gone and paper towels, but found it frustrating. Lately I bought a silicon spatula and it helped a ton.
  12. I have done it 2 ways. I bought the Andy's Nuts by primo for one bike, and the sleeved over the axle style for another bike. They have reacted the same. A five foot drop, no flex, no change.
