  1. So, anyone got a lead on decals for this bike?
  2. I picked this up today and gave er a good ol hose down. This is what was underneath. Let me know what you guys think.
  3. So seing as how I am a lil too big for the Vert right now, I decided to have my kid give the Beat a good ol fashion shakedown. Here's a few pics I took with him playin around with the bike and his board.
  4. Got the flu as well. Sucks azz. Btw, sent the parts out yesterday Brian.
  5. Yes, I know..... ANOTHER STREETBEAT BUILD. For all intents and purposes, my Skyway build is done. It needs front pegs and rear cable shortened but I fianlly got to ride it today. It feels very nice to ride. I took a few pics. Actually, QUITE A FEW!!!. I had no idea how hard it is to photograph flourescence and have the real color show properly. These are the best I could muster. I definately need more time with my new camera. Well here's a few to enjoy. Hope you like it.
  6. Mullets rule!!!! Long live the mullet. Wait, I cant grow hair.
  7. I got one finished to enter. I'll pm ya the pics tomorrow Brian.
  8. Here's my winter project. Gonna be a rider fo sho.
  9. Mine are sealed bearings. So am I correct with 24 rear and 26 front?
  10. I'm assuming they are new versions as they are unused and just came out of the box before I got em. I also heard that the front were 26 and the rear were 24. I'm just looking to get the right front pegs and don't want to mess it up. Oh, and thanks for looking bro.
  11. I have a set of tuff II's and need to know what the thread pitch is on front and rear. Can someone who knows for sure please chime in?
  12. I'm posting this in the appropriate spot I hope. So a couple of weeks ago, I'm on Vintage chat and a fellow I've never interacted with (cuz im still a bit of a n00b to the crowd) starts chatting with me. Says hes been collecting for some time now and shows me some pics of his collection/show room. I remember seeing a thread on here previously with that stuff in it. I ask him if he has some stuff I'm looking for (white brake cables in particular) and he says he has some with some discoloration/shelf wear and to pm him my addy and he'll send them to me. So, I do also telling him in the pm to let me know what he wants for them and his paypal addy. I never get a response. Fast foreward to today. I'm at work (the addy I gave him) and the mail man comes in with an envelope sent to yours truly with Brain P. on the return addy. It then dawns on me what's in the package. So I quickly rip it open to see the goods. BAM!!!! Perfect brake cable casings. I see no discolorations, I see no flaws other than some brown spots which wiped right off. No bill, nothing asked for in return, nothing but the cable and a Decal (OS BMX.com). So, here I am ecstatic over this. It may be a small item but it's the thought of a guy taking his spare time to sort through what seems to be a mountain of parts in his Taj Mahal of goods just to send this stuff to a guy he just met online and talked with for maybe an hour. I only wish there was something I could give him in return for this. But what do you give a fella that seemingly has nearly every cool bmx part a guy could want? He doesnt seem to be worried about my $$ either. Well this is to you BRIAN P. My hats off to you. If you were here, I'd buy you a few drinks. (maybe even a few more). If there's ANYTHING you need... I will do whatever I can to help. CHEERS!!!!!! Wes
