  4. Hi folks, I'm his mate who managed to get the bigger part of the haul, once I have worked out how I upload the pics, I will share the score with you !
  5. In the 1960's Brian Curtis was a motorbike scrambler and very successful too, he also in his spare time built motorcycle frames. In the early eighties he became a bery respected BMX frame builder. Brian's bikes were hand built by him and brazed T45 aircraft tubing opposed to the original mig welded 4130. Curtis became a big name in the UK in the mid to late eighties, his company got bought out and the new owners started telling him how to do things (not Brian's way) and things went pair shaped ! However Brian later got the company back and went back to the old ways ! Brian is now retired in his 70's - however the Curtis bike is still available and is hand built still, Brian trained a lad to carry on his workmanship - and Brian still does a bit of brazing ! The Curtis frames are a great frame - hand built and the brazing is just superb - you can see it in this picture !

Another Curtis Expert Curtis - Freestyler Exp and Pro - Bits now changed on all three (excuse the haro bars on the freestyler - now has Curtis Bars ) A build that I'm on at the moment And a now and then pic ! I do have a whole range of bikes - but these are hand built Bristish ones (except the Kuwie of course LOL !)
  7. No - it's just the angle of the picture I think - the chainstay's are straight. The picture does look like they are, however I just had to check !!!
  8. I won't fill the section with all my builds This one got second place, in Best Of British at our Old School Event 2008 - Curtis Expert 1984 - Now has a straight Curtis seat post and red Kashy
  9. Wow fantastic winner and some truly amazing bikes that have been built - I have only seen a few of them, but they are stunning ! I think I will spend some time looking at the other builds - that should please the wife !
  10. The screen name - I have followed a football team since a kid - Bristol Rovers, there original stadium was next to a big gas works, so people call us 'Gasheads' I will get some more builds posted later ! Thanks fot the great welcome lads
