  1. Holy smokes I just saw that eBay ad! Anyway, I came back on here ask any ideas on weight limits of frames of this era? My son is starting to race and I ride the track with him. I'd rather ride the track with him on a BMX instead of my mountain bike. Thinking about riding this since I have it already.
  2. That decal set is cool! Where did you find that? Its the exact same set I had on my bike and the Michigan team riders had. The Trackmaster Revenger frames were re-decaled Robinsons. I'm pretty sure the frame in the pic attached was a size standard frame. Before this I had an 81 Redline MXIII and this revenger was a little shorter in the top tube for a reference. I don't have the frame any more . I don't remeber that these ever had serial numbers, but I can't say I ever looked for that when I was nine! My Trackmaster 24 which is an RRS based frame with square seat post does not have a serial number. Those RRS based frames came in 20 and 24. Those frames were called Phantoms I believe. I don't remember having a decal set on the 24 except the Trackmaster diamond on the head tube and the black letters in the seat post. My dad was telling the Michigan team was stemmed from the Endless Summer track team. The parents got together on a group buy of frames for us kids. My dad said we got em all on the cheap. I remember the revenger frames having a real steep head tube for geometry and short rear end. It could get out of the gate really well and turned very sharp. I'm gonna scan some pics this week and post em up. I'll catch ya later, my laptop battery is about to die and I'm too tired to plug it in right now!
  3. My only scanned pic of my revenger bike. This is from the Lapeer MI national in the summer of 83.
  4. Hi guys, I'll chime in with info tonight. Been really busy. My folks were visiting this weekend. Ran this by my dad, we chatted some and he gave me some more info I never realized about Trackmaster racing.
  5. Thanks guys, I'm the owner of this bike. Wish I brought it out earlier! I asked my folks to dig out some pics from when I used to race it. I hated this bike when I used to race it. The frame was to big for me. A funny story I thought about today was at the 85 Christmas national in Columbus OH, some kid's father made a huge stink questioning whether my bike was legal to race! We tangled up right out of the gate and then he really flipped. It was kinda tough since were in gate 4 and 5 and I remeber the middle was where you wanted to be. I'm gonna clean this guy up and put back it back together to ride it. My father in law is gonna give me a set of rims he stashed away, my 1 3/8 rims ain't gonna hold me up for long nowadays. Glad you guys enjoyed it. I'll keep a log of its progress, I'll probably have questions too. I'll start it this winter once I get the "honey do" list caught up for the wife.
