  1. this may be the place in Canada? if so, they only get to Washington State to ship items twice a month due to expensive shipping in Canada. but it may not even be that place, it would say on the Ebay item.
  2. !! im trying to go stock or period correct. so as i tear this down i will try to get some feedback on what and what not to use. the seat looks bogus and the post is currently buried. can anyone tell me what the era of those GT stems were? any info on those Dyno bars? Tioga 1 pieces? I appreciate all of the help. I'm new here and i love it! I check in here everyday!!
  3. Awesome! But could you imagine getting airborne on that thing! that would be one interesting race, haha! better have extra strong forks!
  4. Sweet, thanks for the tips. keep em comin. this is my first bike resto are there any kind of bike swap meets throughout the year? it would be nice to be able to walk along an isle of old parts... and I have an old pair of (yellow) or (white) ACS Z rims if anyone is interested
  5. I know!! someone got crazy with the white paint. im still devising a plan to remove whatever paint is on the wheels without damaging the plastic. My buddy found this bike in a dumpster last year and i hounded him for it until he just up and gave it to me all of the sudden. in return i linked him up with a frww Triumph 250. this project is perfect for me: I restore cars so i can use that knowledge here, and i've come up through the years with a few oldschool guys while riding BMX to this day here in Maryland: Matt Lince, Kevin Liebig, Phil Downell, Rich Rostoucher. I owe alot to those guys I do have another question: I assume i will have the frame plated partially and then recoat the White? any pointers in this restoration will help. THANKS!!
  6. Bitchin! thanks for the BMX Stop Decal link. the 86' decals look close. but maybe 85'? we'll see what happens
  7. here are some more pics Serial# 510833 someone has painted the bike with a brush along the way so its a little hard to see check out the coaster brake! bike now wears Dyno Bars, any pics of what this bike should look like?
  8. Thanks, I'll be posting some better pics with a serial number.
