Citric Acid Powder (CAP) Rust Removal Demo

For some reason I can't find the before pictures. This bike was in good shape with some light rust. The one peice crank and bars had the worst of the rust. 8 hours made made a huge change! -

All Things Considered for 2011 SE Bikes

Todd, I have a question! Over the last few weeks I hit a bunch of SE dealers but can't find any with the Retro bikes. Very intrested in getting a PK Ripper, Floval Flyer or So Cal Flyer. I live in the Allentown PA area and would like to check out the line. Could you provide some information on this! Thanks Jim -
Started to make a little progress on the second PK. Finished up the wheels and picked up some missing brake parts. The bikes on the bench and I'm thinking about some redline or profile cranks for it. Also the new (old style) Hutch pedals really look nice. Anyone using the new redline or profile cranks on the new bikes?

Just wanted to update with the finshed wheel picture. My LBS trued them up for me and I added the comp3's. Thanks again it really was not that hard!

Wow, it looks great!!!

My loop tail PK Ripper! -
So after the 2nd PK just sitting around and me not having any time to finish it due to the new baby in the house. I spent a few hours striping all the parts off it and polishing it up. I will be putting the frame, fork, tuff neck, bars, and wheels on ebay. Looks like my next build will not be for a year or two. Anyway thanks for all your help on the projects.

The last few months the wife has cut my spending a bit. We are just at the end of a 1200sf basement project. I'm way over budget it's not even funny. So along with other things the old school builds have to slow. Still need to get a few stickers from another member for the forks (hope he still has them). Also I want a set of redline flights for it. she let me order a Racor 2 bike stand for the basement to display the two PK's. Here is the little spot they will sit. How do the rest of you guys display your bikes?

Still have a hub to rebuild but I wanted to post a few shots. They look very nice. Any info on a wheel stand?
-
Thanks guys after few tries I'm back in the zone and can do wheels again. 4x was the ticket. Now I have to true them up and rebuild the hubs. What are most of you guys using to true wheels. I have used park stands in the past. Are the cheaper park wheel stands any good or just get the top of the line one?

Sorry about the snow shot it was the only picture I had with the box blade on. My little tractor will do the job, not as fast as a bob cat. Loader, toothbar, box blade etc. Just need to get a few loads dumped. As for the roller I have a small one that might work. Wanted some shots for design and lay out. Nothing big just a spot to play around. Kicking the idea around a little.

Wow, nice work.
