  1. So riddle me this......... I dug these wheels out of my shed over the weekend to date them. It looks like 1st gen hubs but solid axles. Here's the kicker, they appear to be Ti axles too. The nuts & allen bolts are a tad rusty but not a trace on either end of the axles & this goes for the other wheel too. The wheels have an Araya 7b on the rear, an Araya 7L on the front. I'm pretty sure they were bought in the mid-80s. (85-86') my friend's memory is a little fuzzy. So what do you think is going on here? b.
  2. The Techs are 178.5 polished. Full set with spare parts. Very, very nice condition. Funny thing is I'm not emotionally attached to these items. I have certain things that I am attached to but not these, it's still hard to let them go. b.
  3. I realize I need to sell a few items I have been holding on to forever, I know they will go to a good home on a project that would do the parts & bike proud. To be showed like they need to be. The project I'll be doing is late 80's, not 90's so I really have no need for them (super choice Spins mags & Technique crank set)........ How come I can't get myself to part with them? It makes me almost sick when I get up in the morning telling myself this is the day I'll post them up but end up making excuse after excuse. Is the fear of letting go of stuff strong in you too? b.
  4. Yes! Here is a pic before it was painted. BTW, it's a 2000 model. Maybe the only year they were made. I was told that Hyper actually made these for Dingo. b.
  5. This brand was around from about 98' to about 02'. Pretty small company but they were able to make a name for themselves. Only 100 of these Pro cruisers were made, the rest were XL's & had American BB's. Iv'e never seen another like the 2 I have. b.
  6. Thanks. Even though I raced in the 70's & 80's, took a break from 87'-92', came back in 93', I find myself digging mid-school more than any part of my career. I was knee deep into the 90's stuff & spent a lot of money on gimmicks that came & went. I still have a great collection of damn near every decade even though I'm really trying to scale down. Here's something you never see everyday. My wifes custom painted cruiser that she still races to this day. Tell me what it is (frame) & another odd thing that's going on with the bike. BTW, it DOES have a Euro BB. 1st one to guess correctly wins nothing but praise.
  7. Sorry for the late follow up fellas. Hi Steve. Here is my 1996 Boss Hogg. b.
  8. Over 10 years as a member here & this is my 1st post. A lot of you know me from over at V, but I haven't posted there in almost a year after 8k posts & a OG member. I see a lot of familiar names over here & I dig how strong the Mid-School is here so I might stay awhile. Here's a house warming gift, mounted & ran once then taken off the bike. Near mint. b.
