nice interview. I like the idea. Glad to meet you, Hector -
I will post pics hopefully tomorrow. But, this frame and fork is BEAUTIFUL. It is NOS-Never had an axle through the drop outs. Chrome is shiney. Has some nics on it from shelf wear but oh man. I might have to hang on to this one for a while

oh yeah. She should be careful and use protection. As a medical professional I feel it's my duty to remind her that safety comes first. You never know where that seat has been. -

Matt, Great job on that one. It looks so clean and slick -
mongoose drummer I personally would not get out of shape over a non era correct part-so long as its close. Maybe instead of a ashtab single stem it might be okay to put a mongoose double clamp on it? (haha, I just re-read your post and noticed you said it first) Or if your build calls for a set of DC 1000 and you only picked up the 901's...etc. Would that only have an impact if the bike was entered in a competiton (BOTY) and lost due to a non era type part? I say if its for your garage build it to taste, but if you'd like a plaque saying Yippee winner winner chicken dinner then go for specs. Just something for consideration.

So, I just scored big time-if youre a schwinn fan. I need a parts listing for a 1980 schwinn sting. Pretty tough to tell from pictures so if anybody has any idea of or where I could find something. I tried Gene's but his links wouldn't open for that year... So, any help and I would love it. I really regret selling off all of my collection. I needed many and wanted to get out of the hobby. a few days of surfing around the other web site and of course this one and I was re-enticed. I had so much cool stuff-85 master 87 fsx, sport, 86 pro performer, a ton of mongoose stuff including pro class cranks and a set of flawless series 3 hoops. Oh man. Anyway. Enough. I am back. I hope everybody has a great holiday.
