  1. Found a few more slides from back in the day. Good memories...
  2. Just scored this off my buddy John. Super sweet 81 Torker. Had to sell my 1984 Hutch pro Raider survivor to get it, but super stoked! Still looking for 24" for sale. if you have one hit me up...
  3. one more, starting gate. That's me with the Mongoose, number 42.
  4. Thanks homies... lboorse2 good eyeballs, your right on the money. The Pepsi BMX Action Team was there that day doing a demo. Dudes could sky high with killer table tops!!! I will post some more now that I have a slide scanner...
  5. Found some old photos from 1984. Just thought I would share. Good times for sure!
  6. My 24" Diamond Back Cruiser. First year for a 24" from DB.
  7. I know, canti-brakes are supposed to be the "better" brakes. I'm just some old dude who can't get them to work right . My nephew is coming down this weekend to help "the old man out". I miss my MX 1000's.
  8. Thanks Tite681. The breaks suck and are really giving me a hard time. they keep "popping out" on the left side. I tried adjusting the cable, but I have never had a bike with canti-brakes so it's throwing me for a loop.
  9. My bad Spur, it's 98". Might be earlier, not to sure. The guy I bought it from said he bought it used in 1998. So it could be older. Also, the bike is 100% Chrome-Moly, No Aluminum. I think the later Cruisers had an Aluminum down tube??
  10. Finally finished my 1989 Diamond Back 24" Cruiser. I don't think the decals are era correct but they look good . Build'em if you got'em! Frame/Fork/Handle Bars/Seat Post/Seat Clamp: Diamond Back Seat: Viscount Ultra Gel Rims: Araya Hubs: Suzue Grips: A'me Brakes: Unknown Pedals: VP 500 Cranks: Unknown Chro-Moly 1/2" 175MM 24T Chain Wheel: Unknown Brand- Alloy Number Plate: Haro?? Number: Zeronine Sure wish I could find a pad set for this bike!!
  11. Thanks guys. The tires are Kenda 20x1.75. They were on the bike when I found it. I would really dig on some Comp3. Can't find them anywhere. Also, it had no seat when I found it. I was able to pick up the Dominator seat at the OS-BMX gathering. Got it for $5.00 bucks, man was I stoked. I am prety new to this game and all I can say is E-Bay stuff is GNARLY!!!! Man I wish I would have kept all my parts from back in the day. who knew
