  1. you said it slips-is that the same as skipping? if so-you take it apart-clean everything replace the pawl energizer spring and slap it back together.
  2. have you taken it apart and cleaned/regreased everything? replace the pawl-energizer spring...should work as good as new!
  3. brian-they fit tighter!! alot less cog movement...
  4. for those looking for retaining rings for these...i got a few sturmy archer clips , with a little customizing-they work. not original-but do the job!
  5. hey brian....i'll put my own wheels on!! LOL's!! hey does yours have a good clicking noise to it? i got one that sounds like a chris king hub-and the other has very little sound to it. a little heads up here-when it starts to skip or pedal both ways-just take it apart-clean it-and regrease it-you may have to replace the inner clip, which hold the 2 small moon looking disc inside. and watch the bearings-alot of them...and very importantly, take apart from the none drive side. these i guess are the 1st freewheels ever on the skyway according to the history on colored tuffs.com.-which by the way are having a sell on tuffs...$99 for colored, and $69 for black or white/sales ends tonight i beleive. oh-and tighten up the wheel there buddy!!
  6. whats wobbly on it-the sprocket, or the bearings? if its the sprocket-mine are a little wobbly, and there new guts and everything. if its the cones-ADJUST FROM THE NON-DRIVE SIDE...don't mess with the drive side. you take it apart-be careful there are alot of bearings in it. about 50 or so, and 3 diffrent sizes. have you acquired any retaining springs/cir-clips for the sprocket? i am looking for a few.... waza had a diagram about this hub and parts-he is very useful in this style of mag wheel.
  7. i never seen a shimano tuff 2-in fact may be rare...i got a few cogs for the suntour-but i am still looking for the cir-clips. anybody needing a cog-i'll do some trading for a few clips...let me know!!
  8. you ever find any cir-clips? i'm needing one -or two...
  9. the scan with the stats on it...that would look good on a red t-shirt...and in black-on my back.
  10. that makes since str...as my # starts out XX-T...thats it-2 numbers and a T...cool story!
  11. i just made it to indy this past sat....been a few years since i actually been on a bike-but it was fun!
  12. those are the hubs....you ever take it apart...watch out for alot of bearings!! where you find a sprocket at? i am in need of 1 or 2..maybe even 3...like a 14-15-16 combination...
  13. jim-the parts worked!! you talk about a bunch of bearings...lol...29 x2 +9 in one side.... :4_1_9:
