My 83 Skyway TA weighs 20 lbs on the nose I think the cranks made the difference. Profiles with all Ti hardware

C=Chatworth Ca, G=July, 8=1978.......other 6 digits are serial number a=Jan, b=Feb, c=march, d=april and so on 6= 1976, 7=1977, 8=1978, 9=1979 and so on Hope this helps In 1983 when BMX Products went to looptail evrything changed a little with the serials

For the forks...When I acquired the frame and forks, the forks were rattle can painted PURPLE...I fixed that problem. Why did owner paint purple? i couldnt tell you. as far as the brake, i need a MX 1000 NOS. I may have to convert a front to rear if one doesnt show up soon Someone asked about the rear brake bridge..Its perfect. Not pinched even the slightest. still has the washer looking thing welded on. i will take some close up pics when I complete, She is still not there yet...Thanks for all the comments

Thanks Steve....I will give some completes this week coming up. I should have bars and seat post by weekend..

right now I have a set of GT's. Hutch pro bars will replace the GT's. They were on my 83 Cali (my bike growing up). well anyhow, I couldnt polish out so I had them rechromed. As far as the grips, I have b1b's with white sleeves. I am also replacing the seat post with Hutch layback. Will do a complete with parts breakdown soon.....Thanks for all the comments. I have two bikes posted at the bmx museum with these stickers on them. They are on Mongoose bikes. I hope I didnt do an injustice to Bobby for putting them on Mongoose. he did ride for them in the 70's so I guess its OK
