  1. its been a long time, but in bmxa, or plus. I remember this much some girls dad was an engineer, and figured it gave more leverage, and made them for her, so supercross came out with their version not to long after. there is some truth to the design as the old ford wrench was bent like that and would bust ANY nut or bolt loose.
  2. well i know its a cook brothers, but one could also say --- whos bike is that, oh its the cook's. as in 2 brothers. good heavens

  13. the husky is really a resticker dg they did up, i can't remember how many. but a small lot for husky dealers
  14. i remember seeing that back in the day. it always seamed like the hard way to do it> so so me and good ol Kenny hicks would just cut out the seat stays and push the chain stays down, we would put a 2x4 under the bb and push the stays down until they hit the floor, then we'd weld in new seat stays
  15. Michael here one for you. me and my GOOD old buddy Kenny hicks ( bike gallery mechanic supper great guy) were building this track of all tracks one HOTTT summer day, sweatin like dirty dogs about to pass out and we look up and there it was a trail mate. we didn't know if we were hallucinating or if it was a real bmx bike, because we had to hack and weld are own. BUT NOOOOO it was the real deal. complete with a tuff wheel 1 double clamp goose neck clear hex grips and kkts. man I'll never forget that, we just stood there couldn't say a word. Are new best friend Miles Crawford just looked at us saying what have you never seen a bmx bike before. funny thing was other than a moto bike we hadn't! Miles told us that the frame he had was the 2nd one because the fist one broke. all they had was a hacked loop tale bolted at the bb and at the seatstay and seatpost was 2 plates with a piece of about a 1/2" of rubber bolted in between
