  1. You post a picture of that Rainbow Brite bike and I am sorry if you can't take the criticsim. Maybe you shouldn't post it in a public thread. I am sorry if this is your version of a fun thread mine is the Model thread. I was asking other to post their pictures of their brightly colored bikes, but this goes to show why this forum is dead most of the time, bunch of small minded assholes. I wasnt asking for critiques of the bike, or is that implied when posting something you spent a lot of time and money on? oh yeah its okay to be a fucking dick if the colors are offending.
  2. I had mostly chrome bikes with blue accents till my tim judge it was white with lavender/pink accents(late 85 till 86). I didnt ask for dumb comments and insults I see now why so many people dont start fun threads, dont worry rejects I will refrain from it in the future. this isnt towards you bmx2112 as I know your comment was in reference to something a while back.
  3. so I was reading in january bicycles and dirt...1984 and they had an ad for a haro freestyler in a mail order, so my question being, since those mags are put together EARLIER like 1-2 months and ship a couple weeks early.....were the first haro's produced in 83? or was that ad in anticipation?
  4. are you afraid to come play on my "team", lol not that theres anything wrong with that!
  5. two tone rim strips....custom. I love this build, I dont know why I like it so much but it just makes me happy when I see it, "the rainbow bright bike" as my wife calls it.
  6. must.......say..........hate..........you.........lots..........freaking sick bike, that araya is a 7L ? I think...or 7c.....shoot now I have to go scower my mags again....I love lavender its one of my favorite colors, look on the museum under my bikes at my skyway, I am hording a ton of lavender parts for my next build or two also....mmmmm have to love the hutches!!! thats a tim judge your thinking of, my holy grail.....in white.
  7. ok, you need to come to my house and clean all the pop off my computer monitor now.
  8. wow I had on idea you knew santa! seriously though, if thats you in the pic.....I must say the VISION of you I had was WAAAAAAAAY off.....
  9. yeah huge tropy for cleanest bike .....I tore my bike down after every race and completely detailed it, pride in ownership was big around my parents house, even if we werent rich we took care of what we had. the trophy was given out every year at the end of the year diner the track put on. I got it the next year also but was in surgury for a broken shoulder and never went to pick it up.
  10. thats cool, I always kept my bikes spotless as a kid, in fact I have a huge trophy for "cleanest bike", I was just that way always had to have it perfect. Nowdays though I love survivors and I still like spotless bikes, but nos perfect? eh if I could afford it and could buy all nos stuff, but I like em as I find em too if they are in save-able shape, I havent "refinished" a bike yet, polish em up and build em. I like what you wrote and completly appreciat everything about it, whomever asked you that had a valid question, and you gave a more than valid answer!
  11. just saw an ad with a full chromo pro sized bike also.....called it an HL....lol
  12. holy yule log!!! wow those bikes are the stuff!!
  13. DING DING DING, we have a winner, those are SO COOL!
  14. I have seen those new in the bag....they werent branded torker, but they are mid 80s
