  1. I'm curious how this will be spun by people on both sides of the issue compared to JDB and Hutch..... Seems like many/most have nothing but accolades for the new CW, and hated JDB over Hutch... It will make for some interesting reading, no doubt...and there's bound to be a ton of hypocrites exposed...(IMO)... BTW, I have no issue with either of them and think these new CW's look killer...and nothing but best wishes to them (and JDB) from me.....
  2. Very cool.....all you need now is a belt drive kit to make it even more unique...
  3. I'll have to check this out later from home... I used to work for a guy who spent his entire life working on and riding bikes.....he was probably in or close to his 60's......one day after repairing a bike he took it for a test ride...he somehow lost control and fell, hitting his (helmetless) head on a curb...and that was it...he spent almost a year in a coma and his family ended up having to sell the store, etc... It's terrible and all it takes is once.....
  4. Looking good so far.....someday, I'm going to get a PL24.....and it will end up either turquoise or radberry with a chrome rear triangle & fork.....I LOVE how those bikes looked...
  5. Rick, post pics of that baby! Please of course.
  6. Great topic. I'll have to search for some of the pics, but the 1 that stands out immediately is the BFBTTC (Bike Formerly Belonging To Tim Cook), the Loop-tail Redline...I LOVE that bike... More later...
  7. I worked in shops from age 14-24, then I spent the next 11 years working in the industry on the wholesale side of it...I loved every minute of it, minus deadlines & sales quotas! LOL! I recently took a job outside of the industry, but I still have ambitions of going back in some manner someday... Also, building wheels is a favorite hobby of mine...it can be very relaxing...
  8. Interesting seat post pic in this one Reilley...notable (at least IMO) as that looks REALLY close to the seatpost that American Classic offers and has for years...kinda funny.
  9. Any update on these items? Is he talking about a former marriage, or his most recent? And what kind of cancer is he suffering from? **I hope I'm not being too nosy here, but I am curious...
  10. Todd, That bike (as with all/much of what you've shown for the '08 line) is awesome. As I said in a different post/board, I really hope that SE is happy with the job you've done since taking over PM duties. I don't think their line has ever been stronger and I believe that they can credit you for that. Will there be a less expensive version available? Something to appeal to a parent looking to get their kid on a cool new SE, but who doesn't need all the bells/whistles?
  11. Get prepared for this. It's a good thing. Probably my favorite frame I ever rode...many others would say the same thing.
