  1. I purchased a long Sleeve SE shirt from Zoominfresh on November 5th and have not received it yet. I'll contact Scot Jr and see whats Up.
  2. How about 1978 Laguna Race I Frame in Nickel? Looks like a kit with cranks and forks from a CYC Stormer. Then again those parts also came on the Laguna 101 from 1978.
  3. Yeah I think I was third in line. Fast Eddie brough it to the local Bike swap and show last week and I got weak enough to finally make a deal that worked out for both of us. He was happy and I am happy. I will most likely clean it up, repack all bearings and keep it the way that it is. I really dig it just the way that it is. Too bad I can't find a real pic of a Laguna 100. The Laguna 101 had more holes in the gussett from what I can tell.
  4. http://www.os-bmx.com/forums/index.php?sho...423&hl=cook Wow, I didn't see that. Looks like most/all of the research has been done already. I posted this over at bmxmuseum earlier last week. I plan on breaking it down this weekend to see if I can find any other identifying marks, etc.
  5. A buddy of mine asked me to help him out with identifying this. It looks like many things but I am not sure. I've since traded him for it. Anyone have any ideas on this? Serial number stamped on bb shell reads 783 I've seen this decal "Race I" on another bike somewhere on the web but don't recall what or where. I looked through all of the bmxmuseum bikes A-Z and did not find a match. I was mainly looking at the gussett/welds and the loop tail/dropouts. I also checked every BMX Action magazine that I have from 77-79 and did not find a match. There were a few close ones but not close enough. Also the cranks are stamped Takagi MX
  6. Thanks for the comments. I'm hoping to have it back together by the end of this weekend. Now if the weather would cooperate so I can ride it!
  7. Brian, I saw a hot pink Dominator on the bay recently. Someone in Canada was selling. Looked a little dirty. I'm not sure of the differences in the Dominators but it did have the Dominator logo on the side.
  8. Thanks! It is in a state of disarray right now getting cleaned up. I hope to have it back together in a week or so. It is a Silver Streak. The "CR" you see on the first pic is the first part of CRoMo. 100% cromo. The tires were dry rotted pretty good so I didn't have have the seller ship them. I have a NOS set of gumwalls to put on it and I'll need to swap out the chain as it is rusted beyond repair. I'd like to see any catalog pics of this bike or magazine pics if any exist. I have looked through a few here and there but the closest I came was an 88 Diamond Back reactor that had the same style decals and similar paint. Anyway, I like it and plan on making it a rider.
  9. Hello, I just got this from a forum member at another site and I can't really find any info on it. He thought it was an 87 and I found DB ad for a Reactor from 88 that had the same decals and paint scheme just a different color. Oh yeah the decals say 100% cromoly and that it is a SIlver Streak. I know what a classic Silver Streak looks like and thias isn't one of them but I do like it alot. I hope I have the right area. Help? Thanks!
