looked into fixing it about 10 years ago, had the name of a guy down south that repaired broken frames (if memory serves he had a track record with JMC's specifically), and just never really had the time to really commit. i'm going to be slowly parting out the rest of the bike, and i guess at this point if anyone knows anyone who might be interested in a one-owner 3.1XL frame with a busted down tube, i'm open to offers for a new home.

moved on to some other projects for a minute and let the bike sit, went to check the seat over the weekend and popped out with a few good twists. the blaster and wd40 eventually got in there and did their thing, thanks everyone for all the feedback.

lol, yeah. it's basically backed most of the way out just sitting in there.

have a uni seat stuck in a JMC 3.1 XL frame clamp, any suggestions on getting it free? i've hit it with blaster fluid a couple days in a row and doesn't seem to want to budge and i obviously don't want to break it. i've already compromised some mint maxy cross cranks from using brute force to remove pedals that had been on there ~35 years, trying not to make the same mistake twice.
