  1. Ahhh, I dont do much polishing so I dont really know what that is. I do have a guy local to me that used to do alot of motorcycle parts for me. Think I may go see him. Thanks though.
  2. Nice!!! Working on one myself that needs some polishing to. What polish are you using? Any specific brand better than others. I keep hearing good things about Maas and Autosol.
  3. Only a few completes for me too... 83 Cook Bros 83 JMC Shadow early 80's P.K. In the works and should be finished within a month... 81 Diamondback Silver Streak & 81 Motomag Couple mini's to follow that... 81 Cook Bros jr/mini 80 Mini Sting
  4. Kinda stumbled upon this thread by accident, but curious as to how its going? Any updates?
  5. Is that not the one in this thread? I did not realize this was an old thread either until about half way through. Killer set for sure.
  6. Like mentioned I flip the bike over on the bars and seat. Spray pb blaster into the steer tube. Let it sit over night, flip the bike up right and loosen up the wedge bolt a small amount ( couple, three turns ), and smack the bolt with a dead blow hammer. May have to hit it a couple times, but it has always worked for me.
  7. Here is some pics of a 81 silver streak I just picked from one of my racing/ridding buddies from b.i.t.d.
  8. He truly is what this hobby, sport, addiction, etc is all about. Get to feeling better Jim!
  9. Here are some I have pics of. The KZ1 has since been sold.
  10. Well, if you dont mind shipping, then give Chromemasters in TN a shot. Some of the best work I have seen.
